Our Mission

To develop fundamentally sound, confident, and disciplined baseball players through elite coaching, competitive opportunities, and a culture that values effort, accountability, and respect for the game.


Our Vision

PA Kings strives to be one of Pennsylvania’s most respected youth baseball organizations, recognized for:

🏆 8U–12U Development & Competitive Teams

Our younger age groups focus on:

  • Strong fundamentals (hitting, throwing, fielding, baserunning)
     
  • Baseball IQ and situational awareness
     
  • Confidence, effort, and love for the game
     
  • Structured practices and competitive tournament play
     

These teams serve as the foundation of the PA Kings program.

The PA Kings 15U National Team is an elite-level program designed for advanced players seeking:


  • High-level regional and national competition
     
  • Increased exposure
     
  • Preparation for high school and beyond
     
  • A professional, accountability-driven environment
     

Roster spots are limited to ensure quality coaching and competition.

The PA Kings Story

Our Story


PA Kings was built with a simple belief: development comes first.


What started as a desire to create a better path for young baseball players has grown into a competitive, player-focused organization dedicated to doing things the right way. Too often, youth baseball becomes about shortcuts, trophies, and weekend results. PA Kings was created to be different — to focus on fundamentals, discipline, and long-term growth.


From the beginning, our goal has been to provide a structured, professional environment where players learn the game, build confidence, and develop both on and off the field. Our 8U–12U teams lay the foundation by emphasizing skill development, baseball IQ, and love for the game, while our 15U National Team offers advanced athletes the opportunity to compete at a higher level and prepare for what’s next.


PA Kings is more than a baseball organization — it’s a culture. We value hard work, accountability, and respect for the game. We expect our players to compete with confidence, represent the PA Kings name with pride, and support their teammates every step of the way.


As we continue to grow, our commitment remains the same: develop the player, honor the game, and build something families are proud to be part of.

Areas We Serve

Location

 PA Kings is based in Western Pennsylvania, with its primary operations located in Hermitage, PA. Our organization proudly serves families throughout the surrounding Western PA and Eastern OH regions, providing athletes with access to high-quality training, competitive travel baseball opportunities, and a centralized home base for practices and development. Being rooted in Hermitage allows PA Kings to bring together players from multiple communities while maintaining a strong local presence and a commitment to the growth of baseball in Western Pennsylvania. 

Meet Our Founder

Mike Bochert - Founder

PA Kings was founded in 2026 by Mike Bochert, a dedicated baseball coach, leader, and family man with a lifelong passion for developing young athletes. Mike’s involvement in baseball goes far beyond the field — as a coach in both Little League and travel baseball, and as President of the local Little League program, he has spent years investing in the growth of youth baseball within the Western Pennsylvania community.

Mike’s inspiration for creating PA Kings comes from coaching and competing alongside his family. Together with his wife, Jennifer Bochert, and their children — Braxton and Jordan Bochert, along with daughter Ryleigh Blackburn — baseball has been a central part of their lives. Coaching his sons through the game reinforced Mike’s belief that youth baseball should focus on fundamentals, character, discipline, and preparing players for the next level both athletically and personally.

PA Kings was built to reflect those values — offering a competitive yet positive environment where player development comes first. Mike’s vision is to create a program that challenges athletes, builds confidence, and fosters a lifelong love for the game while representing the PA Kings name with pride and integrity.
